Enrollment:

It is the goal of the Lummi Nation Enrollment office to assist Lummi Tribal members with enrollment matters and also to maintain and preserve the Tribal Roll.

1. Enrollment of new members.

• The Enrollment Office assists any eligible individual with the process of enrolling into the Lummi Nation.  Applications for enrollment are available in the Enrollment Office.

2. Providing documentation of Enrollment to current members.

• Any enrolled tribal members wanting a certification of enrollment, certification of Indian blood, or a tribal enrollment card may obtain them at the Enrollment Office.

3. Funeral Support.

• As of 1994 the Lummi Indian Business established a Funeral Support Fund that allows for a contribution to go towards the funeral expenses of enrolled tribal members.  Families of enrolled tribal members requesting a contribution from the Funeral Support Fund may do so through the Lummi Enrollment Office.

4. Tribal Elections.

• The Enrollment Office provides administrative support to the Election Committee with conducting tribal elections—and the office administers the processes of General Council members petitioning for candidacy of LIBC office.
