About the Program

Our Mission

The Lummi Nation Child Support Program strives to improve the lives of children.

By helping parents support their children, LNCSP works to strengthen the future of the Lummi Nation.

Services We May Provide

  • Arranging genetic testing when legally available.
  • Establishing legal parentage.
  • Locating custodial and noncustodial parents.
  • Establishing child support obligations.
  • Reviewing and modifying existing support obligations.
  • Enforcing child support orders.
  • Collecting and distributing child support payments.
  • Coordinating with tribal, state, and other child support agencies.
  • Reviewing cases referred by Lummi TANF.

Important Notice About Established Parentage

LNCSP does not disestablish parentage.

Parentage may be established through a court order, valid acknowledgment of parentage, or another legally recognized process.

If parentage is already established, LNCSP will not use genetic testing to dispute or disestablish legal parentage.

Walk-ins are accepted. No after-hours document or payment drop-off is available.
