Job Summary
The Natural Resources Wildlife Technician II will work in the Lummi Natural
Resources (LNR) Department under the direct supervision of the Wildlife Program Manager
(WPM). The incumbent will also assist Stock Assessment, Restoration, and Water Resource
programs and operate under those programs supervisors when needed. The incumbent will perform
a variety of technical monitoring, data collection, and hunting management activities to support the
Wildlife Division and other LNR divisions, including performance of duties that support wildlife
and hunting management such as issuance of hunting permits and tags, and technical duties
including tracking and monitoring abundance and habitat use of wildlife such as deer, elk,
waterfowl, and mountain goats.
