Job Summary
The Deputy Security Officer ensures the safety and security of students, staff, and
visitors at Lummi Nation K–12 School by supervising security personnel, monitoring campus
activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining a positive, secure environment. This role also leads
staff training in emergency preparedness using current best practices, keeps safety policies and
procedures up to date, and collaborates with the Lummi Nation Police Department, Fire Department,
and LIBC Workplace Safety Officer to support coordinated emergency response, workplace safety and
communication efforts.
