Job Summary
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) provides inpatient secure withdrawal
management, medical stabilization, and treatment services to adults with substance use disorders
within the Lummi Secure Withdrawal Management and Stabilization (SWMS) program.
The ARNP performs comprehensive medical assessments, withdrawal management, medication
management, and coordination of care with nursing and behavioral health staff. The ARNP
participates in daily clinical care of patients admitted to SWMS and contributes to program quality
improvement, clinical protocol development, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe,
effective patient care. The ARNP practices within Washington State scope of practice and SWMS
clinical protocols under the clinical oversight of the Medical Director.
The ARNP also participates in the SWMS rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours clinical
decision-making and patient care needs.
