Job Summary
The Interventionist provides targeted social-emotional support within a Multi-Tiered
System of Supports (MTSS). This role delivers tiered interventions through classroom-based support, small
group instruction, and individualized one-on-one interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-
emotional needs. The Intervention Teacher supports social-emotional and behavioral interventions across
grades K–12. Working collaboratively with teachers, counselors, administrators, and student support staff,
the role uses data to monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and contribute to a positive, inclusive
school climate that promotes student success.
