Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)

Internationally certified Drug/Alcohol Counselor, Internationally certified Clinical Supervisor, and National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Professional Interventionist.

I've been in the field for 35 years and worked at Lummi Counseling Services for 21 years. I was the Clinical Supervisor for LCS for 8 years and I've also worked with Indigenous people in the US and Canada. I've worked with youth, families, couples, and individuals who were affected by Substance Use Disorder and I've worked in a hospital based In-patient treatment center and also an Outpatient treatment center. I taught a life skills credit class at a Bellingham High School for 2 years and I've also taught about Substance Use Disorder to psychiatric interns at a hospital. I worked at Se Eye Chen transitional youth home since the beginning to closure. I've developed 19 workshops on all aspects of Substance Use Disorder and presented them to various organizations. In my private practice, I focused on youth and families for 15 years and facilitated groups at several group homes for high-risk youth. My hobbies are: gardening, reading, learning new things, and cartography. I love animals, especially cats and horses.
