Commercial Clam Fishery

Lummi participates in the development of three regional bivalve harvest management plans, each plan runs from January 1-December 31 annually. The majority of Lummi’s harvest takes place within the bounds of the Lummi Reservation, which is not covered in any regional management plan. Manila clam harvest off-reservation occurs within Region 3, currently at Drayton Harbor/Semiahmoo (200104) and historically at Birch Bay (200060).
