Congratulations on your decision to pursue a vocational certificate or college/graduate degree. Education is a priority of the Lummi Indian Business Council (LIBC). In 1989, as an act of self-determination LIBC took over the responsibility of administering the Lummi Higher Education Grant Award process from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This grant award assists students in fulfilling their goals, as well as, meeting the ever-growing needs of our dynamic community. To keep pace with the rising cost of college tuition they have augmented those BIA funds with tribal funding. This award is based on academic rather than financial need. Please read the directions carefully, print, and submit a complete application.
