Restrictions
- Nooksack River is closed above the Slater Road Bridge.
- Samish Bay and River are closed south and east
of a line from Oyster Creek to the fish management marker on Samish Island,
except that hand pull gill nets may fish north of a line from Oyster Creek to
Scott's Point on Samish Island. Additionally, Samish Bay is open south of a
line from Scott’s Point to a point east of the mouth of Edison Slough north of
the end of Key Ave. Fishing is closed beyond a line across the Samish River
where the river first significantly narrows, approximately 1,000 ft. upriver of
the mouth, and is closed to fishing beyond the mouth of Edison Slough.
- Fishing in the on-reservation portion of 7A, off Neptune Beach south of Slater Road, is by permit only.
- The on reservation fishery must have one end of the net on the beach.
- If a marine mammal is shot to protect gear or catch, activity must be reported to LNR enforcement at 360-815-4175.
- All take home fish must be reported on a fish ticket.
- Fishers must cooperate with Lummi catch samplers to provide access to fish for CWT, tissue, adipose fin and otolith sampling as requested. Fisher must contract LNR at 312-2321 to have their fish sampled.
- All provisions of Title 10 apply.
