Restrictions

  1. Nooksack River is closed above the Slater Road Bridge.
  2. Minimum mesh size 5-inch. 
  3. Samish Bay and River are closed south and east of a line from Oyster Creek to the fish management marker on Samish Island, except that hand pull gill nets may fish north of a line from Oyster Creek to Scott's Point on Samish Island. (See map below)
  4. If a marine mammal is harmed in order to protect gear or catch, activity must be reported to LNR enforcement at 815-4175
  5. All take home fish must be reported on a fish ticket. 
  6. Fishers must cooperate with Lummi catch samplers to provide access to fish for CWT, tissue, adipose fin and otolith sampling as requested. Fisher must contract LNR at312-2321 to have their fish sampled. 
  7. All provisions of Title 10 apply.
