Mission Statement

The Lummi Geographic Information System (GIS) Division is responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining spatial information for all Lummi Indian Business Council departments.The GIS Division promotes the use of spatial information and a GIS where practicable to serve, meet, and protect the spiritual, economic, social, cultural, educational, physical, and environmental needs and values of the Lummi People.

• If you are a consultant working for the LIBC and you would like to request other GIS data not available from the link above , please submit a completed Lummi geospatial data disclaimer form available from this page.
• Download maps (in PDF format), including travel direction maps to major LIBC facilities, andtopographic maps for WRIA1 here.The topographic mapsinclude public lands, forest service roads, game management units, and hiking trails.The topographic maps are a great resource for hikers, hunters, and gatherers.The PDF maps can be added to AvenzaPDF maps (a free PDF map viewing application for iOS and Android) and you can use your phone's GPS to view your location on the maps.
• Periodically the Lummi Nation GIS department publishes an atlas for the Lummi Nation. View and download these documents here. These documents provide an overview of the history, natural and economic resources, and government of the Lummi Nation.
