Where do I go to get my tribal fishing license/clam validation?

See Loretta Toby-Revey (in the Natural Resources Department, second floor, main LIBC Admin building). Loretta can be reached at (360) 312-2319.



How much does a fishing license cost?

Lummi tribal members can currently obtain a tribal fishing license for $20. However, a clam harvesting validation is also required to commercially harvest clams.



How much does a clam validation cost?

A clam validation currently costs $10 per year.




Where do I pay for my fishing license/clam validation?

After filling in the application at Lummi Natural Resources, you should go to the Accounting department to pay for the licence/validation. Accounting is directly accross from the LNR building and can be accessed from the access ramp on the west end of the Accounting building.



Do I need a clam validation sticker to participate in the clam harvest?

Yes. However, the requirement for a clam harvesting validation will be waived on the first night of harvest in the season to allow clammers the chance to earn enough money to cover this expense.
