Restrictions

  1. Nooksack River is closed above the Slater Road Bridge.
  2. Samish Bay and River are closed south and east of a line from Oyster Creek to the fish management marker on Samish Island, except that hand pull gill nets may fish north of a line from Oyster Creek to Fish Point on Samish Island from 4pm Sunday, to 4pm Wednesday, weekly through September 19.
  3. Fishing in the on-reservation portion of 7A is by permit only. Neptune Beach, south of Slater Road. The on-reservation fishery in 7A is limited to the area south of Sandy Point.
  4. The on reservation fishery must have one end of the net on the beach.
  5. Gill net stretch minimum measure 5 inches, unless otherwise noted on the LNR hotline.
  6. If a marine mammal is shot to protect gear or catch, activity must be reported to LNR enforcement at 360-815-4175.
  7. All take home fish must be reported on a fish ticket.
  8. Fishers must cooperate with Lummi catch samplers to provide access to fish for CWT, tissue, adipose fin and otolith sampling as requested. Fisher must contract LNR at 312-2321 to have their fish sampled.
  9. All provisions of Title 10 apply.
